Candy Cane Lane

Continuing with the goodies from my #FrostyVoxBox, this was my favorite item in the box.

If you know me, than you know that I L-O-V-E tea. I may have a slight obsession ....

and this was only half of it ;)

There's something about a mug of hot tea that warms the soul and makes everything better, but anyways, on to the review...

In general, I'm a brand loyal person and normally buy Bigelow teas because those are my favorite but when I got the Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane green tea, I was excited. It was one of those things that if I saw it in the store i would want to try it, but wouldn't want to commit to buying the whole box in case I didn't like it. 

Celestial Seasonings is not a new brand for me, I used to get the fruit tea sampler to add to my iced teas to give them a little more flavor. I never really liked used it to make hot tea for one reason......there is no string on the bag! I know, its something minor, and has nothing to do with the actual flavor of the tea (and may make me sound like sort of a tea snob) but it was a huge peeve of mine. 

The other thing that bothered me is the fact they are not individually wrapped for freshness (like Bigelow teas). Two bags come in one sealed pouch, which to me is ok, if you are going to use them both at the same time, but since I like to switch it up from time to time and drink different flavors, the second bag just doesn't  taste as good at the first depending on how long it was open.

Now that i got all of the negative out of the way, let me tell you about the tea itself. Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea. In one word.....YUM! I am not a huge fan of minty teas because the mint flavor is too strong for me BUT this one honestly tastes like a candy cane and is like a cup of Christmas and is soooo good. I like my teas a little on the sweeter side so all I added was some sugar and it was perfection. Not only did it taste amazing it smelled just as amazing too. I joked with my huband i wish I could get the scent in a candle because I would burn it the whole holiday season.  I cant even use words to describe how great it was so you will just to have to try it out for yourself....but hurry, because as with everything seasonal, it will be gone before you know it!

I'm glad that Influenster also added a coupon in my VoxBox because I did pick up another box before it was all gone!

Some of these products I will go in depth a little more in a different post individually but I do want to say now that the FruitVine bites are AMAZING! They were the first thing I opened. I was a little worried they would taste like twizzlers, which I think are absolutely gross, but to my pleasant surprise they are soooooo much better! My husband tried to take the bag from me after I let him try one so they are a winner over here. If you have not heard of these or have tried them you should, before my VoxBox I had never even heard of them but now I am on a search to find a store that stocks them because I NEED more. :)
